Настройка трех мониторов

В дополнение к 22" монитору, появились в распоряжении еще два 17" и валялись бесхозными пара видеокарт S3Virge.
Почему бы их не использовать, игрухи все равно не играю, с 3D не работаю.

p.s. пришлось настраивать руками, т.к. в Xorg сервере на текущий момент какая-то бага, и Yast не может настроить "многоголовый"(несколько мониторов) режим.

Так же необходимо учесть, чтобы видеокарта для 22" монитора поддерживала разрешение 1680x1050

Исходные данные:
- Материнка со встроенным видео (далее будет нюанс)
- Видеокарта Nvidia GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (AGP интерфейс)
- Две старые видеокарты S3Virge (PCI интерфейс)
- Два 17" монитора Philips 170S4,170S
- Один 22" widescreen монитор PHILIPS 220WS

Есть одна подводная грабля в настройке такой конфигурации - встроенное видео на материнской плате надо выключить (в BIOS-е), т.к. для работы такой конфигурации требуются не встроенные видеокарты с интерфейсами PCI,AGP,PCIe.

Настройка 22" widescreen монитора

Необходимо учесть, чтобы видеокарта для 22" монитора поддерживала разрешение 1680x1050

Сначала стОит настроить монитор с помощью Yast или другим инструментом, если Вы не в OpenSUSE. Если не получится по каким-либо причинам, то тогда вручную, конфиг ниже.


(Для начинающих пользователей, создаем файл xorg.conf под пользователем root в /etc/X11/, копируем текст, который ниже, в этот файл и сохраняем. Перезагружаем ПК.)
Данная настройка скорей всего подойдет для большинства 22" мониторов.

Если не нужна поддержка 3D, то можно использовать драйвер по умолчанию. Тогда секцию в xorg.conf привести к виду:
